Project: Coat Hook
Make a very useful and decorative wall hook in this beginning blacksmithing class. You will learn how to bend and shape metal in a fun, safe and supportive setting. Hook will be approximately 6-8″ long.
Class Size: 5 students
Class Level: Beginner, 14 yrs and up. Participants ages 14-17 yrs must be accompanied by a legal guardian who is also registered for the class.

Prerequisites: None. This is a class for complete beginners with no experience or for those that want to brush up on basic skills.

How to Register
Add the class fee to your cart using the menu below and complete the check out process to reserve your spot.

Refund Policy: Eligible refunds will be issued as website credit according to the schedule outlined below. Monetary refunds may also be requested minus a 5% service fee.

Refund schedule: 100% refund with at least 30 days notice, 50% refund with at least 14 days notice. No refund with less than 14 days notice. If class does not fill we reserve the right to cancel and issue a full refund as a website credit.

PLEASE NOTE:

The roll up door will remain open during class to provide plenty of ventilation. There will be lots of fresh air circulation in the shop so please dress in layers for your comfort.

Please show consideration for your fellow students by staying home if you have any symptoms of cold or flu.

 

SHOP WEAR & PERSONAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Safety equipment to bring
Safety glasses (mandatory), also recommended over prescription glasses
Ear protection
Leather gloves (optional)
Leather apron (optional)

Attire
Clothing should be cotton or wool. No synthetics like windbreakers or nylon pants.
Leather shoes.
No loose fitting clothing.
Long hair must be tied back.

The roll up door will remain open during class for increased ventilation. There will be lots of fresh air circulation in the shop so please dress in layers for your comfort.

You are welcome to wear a mask during class if you wish. 

Additional info
Bring your own water bottle. Feel free to bring a snack.

Stay home if you have any symptoms of cold or flu.
